John Resig, a JavaScript Evangelist currently working for Mozilla, speaks at Google regarding the issues surrounding basic JavaScript development and standards. Much attention is given to scalable and extensible JavaScript API from the ground up. While Resig is mostly known as the lead developer of jQuery, he is also the co-designer of the FUEL JavaScript library which is included in FireFox 3.
